Have you ever run an experiment online that required people to watch a video and then found that participants skipped the video entirely? Perhaps they just hit “Continue” or they found another way around your system, and you thought to yourself “Gee, I wish I had something that would stop them from hitting “Continue” until the video is over”. Well, here’s that code. The Experiment Movie Player (EMP) consists of 2 files which can be used together to show a flash movie and only allow the participant to continue when the video reaches a certain point or finishes.
